Natural benefits of merino wool for babies

Merino wool is renowned for its unique properties that make it an excellent choice for baby clothing. This natural fibre is temperature-regulating, helping to keep your baby warm in cool conditions and comfortably cool when it is warmer. Its moisture-wicking ability ensures that any sweat is drawn away from the skin, keeping your baby dry and comfortable. Additionally, merino wool is naturally antibacterial, reducing odour and the need for frequent washing, which extends the life of the garments. These qualities make merino wool ideal for sensitive baby skin.

Design and functionality in baby apparel

At DILLING, we offer an assortment of baby clothing crafted from organic merino wool. Our selection includes bodysuits, overalls, and other essentials designed to provide ease of use and comfort. The clothing is free from harmful chemicals, ensuring safety and softness against your baby’s delicate skin. Features such as practical closures and flexible fits are designed to support easy changing and free movement, making our merino wool clothing both functional and user-friendly for busy parents.

Caring for merino wool baby clothes

Maintaining the quality of merino wool garments is simple with the right care. To preserve its natural properties, it is recommended to wash the clothes on a gentle wool cycle at 30 degrees Celsius or by hand in lukewarm water. Always use a specialised wool detergent to ensure the fibres remain soft and effective. This careful approach to washing not only maintains the fabric’s integrity but also supports the longevity of the garments, allowing them to be worn and cherished longer.
