Life doesn't always go according to plan.
The pace changes. The weather changes. Plans change.
Some days, everything runs smoothly.
Other days, your keys are missing, your coffee’s cold, and you're five minutes behind schedule.
Wool clothing can't solve all of life's challenges.
But we believe it can make some of them a little easier.
So you don't always have to let the weather decide what to wear.
You can work up a sweat without necessarily having to change your top.
Enjoy the cold.
Skip a wash.
Pack a little less.
Worry a little less.
Because when your clothes take care of you, there's more room for what really matters. Life.
Life takes wool.
The laundry basket has a habit of filling itself. Luckily, your wool clothing doesn't always have to add to the pile. Often, you can simply hang it up to air and wear it again. It might not give you more hours in the day, but it can mean one less thing to do – and a little more time for the things you'd rather be doing.
The world is a big place when you're little. Temperatures, surfaces and surroundings change throughout the day. One moment, you're snuggled up close. The next, there's a whole world to explore. Wool naturally helps regulate body temperature, keeping things comfortable through all those little changes in the day.
A working day isn't just meetings and hours in front of a screen. There's the commute to work, the lunch break, errands on the way home and everything in between. Merino wool is comfortable to wear through it all. A soft merino wool top looks right at home under a blazer, giving you the comfort you want throughout a long day.
Suddenly, you need to make a little more room. In the family, in everyday life – and not least in your clothes. Merino wool is naturally flexible and has some give as your body moves and changes. Making room for a growing bump and everything else the day has in store.
The short answer is the fibres. Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is known for its exceptionally fine wool fibres. They bend more easily against the skin than coarser wool fibres, which is why merino wool feels soft and comfortable – even when worn directly against the body. And that matters. Because all wool's other properties don't count for much if you don't actually want to wear it.

An ordinary day can make a surprising number of demands on what you're wearing. Cold air as you step outside. Warmth as you pick up the pace. Hours spent sitting still. Afternoons with a little more going on.
It's in these changes that merino wool's natural properties really come into their own. The naturally crimped fibres trap insulating air, while their ability to absorb and release moisture helps manage the moisture around your body. Together, these properties help influence both temperature and moisture in the microclimate next to your skin. In everyday terms, that's what we experience as comfort.
It also means the same clothes can work for you through more of the day's changes.
Perhaps the best clothes are the ones you don't have to think too much about. They keep you warm when the air turns cold, allow your body to release heat when you pick up the pace, and feel comfortable as you go about your day.

Good wool is where it starts. But what happens to it afterwards matters, too. Two pieces of clothing can both be made from merino wool and still be the result of very different processes.
Many wool products undergo a Superwash treatment using chlorine and a synthetic polymer coating to make them more resistant to harsh treatment. We do things differently. At our own dyehouse in Denmark, we use an enzyme treatment instead, making the wool soft and comfortable without releasing chlorine or coating the fibres in plastic.
By preserving wool's natural structure, we also preserve the properties that make merino wool such a special natural material.

Air out before you wash
Did you know that sometimes all your wool needs is a little fresh air? Merino wool naturally slows the development of odours, so airing it out is often enough. A little less laundry. A little more time for something else.
Let them play
Children can work up a sweat in no time when they're having fun. Luckily, merino wool can absorb moisture and allow the body to breathe, helping clothes feel comfortable – even through all the running, jumping and rough-and-tumble play.
Wool at work
Perhaps you mostly associate merino wool with practical clothing? But a merino wool top can also make a lovely alternative to a shirt under your blazer. It's soft against the skin and helps regulate moisture and temperature – all day long.
Breastfeeding calls for flexibility
Did you know that a merino wool top can be rather practical when you're breastfeeding? The soft, naturally flexible fibres give the material a degree of stretch, allowing the top to give a little when you need to lift it or pull it to one side. And at the same time, the wool helps keep you warm.
Fleece under a snowsuit or waterproofs
Waterproofs keep the rain out. But when playtime gets going, the body can still produce moisture from within. A layer of merino wool fleece can absorb moisture into its fibres and help maintain a more comfortable microclimate next to the skin.
